A pool of turquoise yarn and a little vintage thread

  1. Hi Stephne
Thanks for your message. Yes, we are both well and hope you had a good Christmas and New Year. Your New York trip sounds very interesting. Andrew had his last day's leave yesterday and we went into Daventry and popped into 'your' cafe and saw all your cushions, furniture etc and I thought then I must get in contact with you. I have decided to 'retire' from gardening for others after 12 years. I have continued to work for my ladies, helping them in the house etc over the winter months and realised how physically tiring gardening is, much easier to flick the duster and push the hoover around! I'm going to continue planting up the containers for two of my ladies, so I'll still be doing the nice bits. I know one of my ladies has had a word with Kim and I think one of the others will too. I hope I will enjoy pottering in our garden again, as for a while now I found it a bit of a chore after doing everyone elses. I've still got my Folksy shop and sold a number of bits and pieces and plan to add some more soon. Anyway I'd best get on, off to the hairdressers soon. Hope to get in and see you and your new goodies and your new little work room.
    Best regards
    Gill
